PSG may have won the French Ligue 1 title with a record number of games to spare on Sunday but there is one player in France who is being talked about alongside the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Rennes wonderkid Ousmane Dembele has been in terrific form in 2016 and some of the biggest clubs in Europe are taking a keen interest in the 18-year-old.
Dembele and Rennes are in the midst of a battle to finish in the Champions League spots in Ligue 1 but even if they make Europe’s premier competition it will be a huge surprise if Dembele does not depart for a huge club this summer.
On Monday, France Football report that Barcelona have bid 35 million euros for Ousmane Dembele but this was rejected by Rennes.
The France Football information comes from a “source close to the club.”
Dembele is also being closely tracked by Bayern Munich and Manchester City.
Barcelona appear to be leading the chase for Dembele with sporting director Robert Fernandez watching the youngster last week as he scored a hat-trick against Nantes.
Dembélé has scored nine goals in Ligue 1 this season and provided five assists.
