How special is the Special One? Very.
After collecting his 19th management medal and his 7th league title in his fourth different country, there can be few doubts that Jose Mourinho is one of the great managers in the history of football.
Mourinho’ has the Midas touch of instilling camaraderie in his charges: whatever the club, whatever the group of players, Mourinho has the ability to pull all his stars in the same direction – his direction - for the common good.
Following Real Madrid’s 3-0 away win at Athletic Bilbao which secured Los Blancos 32nd league crown, there was a beautiful moment in which the Madridstas marked the achievement of the Portuguese coach.
As Mourinho entered the pack of celebration Real players, the group seized upon the Special One and began flinging him up in the air for one of the great moments of the season.
When the players finally retreated back into the changing rooms at San Mames, the celebrations kept on going.
Pepe and Marcelo egged each other in a spate of topless dancing, Sergio Ramos was happy counting his “one, two, three” titles on his hand, whilst Alvaro Arbeloa ignored his teammates in order to update his timeline on Twitter.
