Here’s some wonderful news for Manchester United fans ahead of the Liverpool game.
David De Gea is going nowhere!
Real Madrid can bugger off, report Sky Sports, after claiming an exclusive interview with the Man United stopper.
De Gea has spoken to Sky ahead of Sunday’s Premier League match away at Liverpool.
The 25-year-old Spanish keeper, arguably Man United’s only world class player, said the following:
I’m happy, I’m enjoying it and I believe in the team.
They were the greatest goalkeepers in the Premier League, they are legends for this club and that is what I want.
I train every day to be the best goalkeeper in the world, that is my aim. I’m not sure who the best is now, but it’s what I want. Also, to win trophies for Manchester United.
De Gea’s future has again become a hot topic of conversation after Real Madrid have been slapped with a transfer embargo stopping them from registering any players in the next two transfer windows.
The Independent on Sunday believe Los Blancos will try to sign De Gea (again) this summer.
Back in September 2015, David De Gea signed a four-year contract extension with the Red Devils, but many people believe that contract has a built-in exit clause.
