Harry Kane produced another quality performance for Tottenham at QPR on Sunday.

The in-form Spurs striker bagged a brace to put Mauricio Pochettino’s side 2-0 up before a late Sandro goal halved the deficit for QPR.

Spurs held on and now have a key game at Old Trafford next Sunday as they bid to gatecrash the top four party in the Premier League.

Kane scored his 25th and 26th goals of the season at QPR and is now well ahead of any Premier League striker, in terms of goals in all competitions in 2014/2015.

In fact, no player from any of the 92 Premier League and Football League clubs has scored more goals than Harry Kane this season.

And, whilst some will point to Kane scoring many of his goals in the Europa League, its worth pointing out that the Tottenham hitman has now scored in six successive Premier League away games.

Finally, in terms of Tottenham, the tally of 26 at this point means Kane is on course to better Jurgen Klinsmann’s tally from 1994/1995, the last time a player at White Hart Lane hit 30 goals in a campaign…
