Philippe Coutinho is playing really well for Liverpool at the moment, without really achieving the goals and assists that would secure headline status.
The Brazilian has scored just two goals this season despite being presented with some fine chances, most notably at Manchester City last week, when he saw Joe Hart save after a stunning Liverpool move.
All the signs are there to suggest if Coutinho gets his shooting boots on he could help relieve the burden on Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge for scoring Liverpool’s goals.
Coutinho was once again impressive against Hull on Wednesday, displaying the close control and bag of tricks that has ensured he has been such a success in English football since joining from Inter Milan.
