Ouch: FC Dallas defender Carlos Rodriguez suffers gruesome broken arm v Real Salt Lake“From our understanding, he went to the hospital. It was a dislocation of the elbow. They put the elbow back in place… I think when Carlos went down with a dislocation of the elbow, it must have taken a lot out of the players. You don’t know what that does. You have a teammate that’s injured, and everybody is looking at it.” – FC Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman.

There was an MLS match played on Wednesday and Panama’s Carlos Rodriguez, a versatile and highly-rated defender for FC Dallas, is facing a lengthy lay-off after a nasty looking injury.

Typically, the American commentators called it as it is: “There are bones coming out of places they shouldn’t be…”

With RSL claiming a late equaliser to draw the match 1-1, it looks like Dallas dropped two points as well as losing Rodriguez for a while.

Video of Carlos Rodriguez’s nasty injury is here.
