Olivier Giroud spoke to Sky after today’s win at Crystal Palace, after scoring the opening goal with an acrobatic volley.
It was the perfect riposte to the critics from the Frenchman, who’d come in for a lot stick after last weekend’s defeat to West Ham.
Santi Cazorla was awarded Man of the Match (but couldn’t attend the interview due to a random doping test), and the reporter handed the gong to the Frenchman, asking him to pass it on.
And Giroud showed his sense of humour, by miming himself presenting the award to an invisible Cazorla.
