On both occasions, organisers were left licking their lips as the stars players on show produced show-stopping results.
In Colombia everyone got want they wanted in just the third minute, as local hero Radamel Falcao converted a sublime overhead-kick to get the exhibition match off to a furious start.
Real Madrid were equally successful in Kuwait, where main-man Cristiano Ronaldo chipped in with the decisive second goal of the game amid a performance laced in tricks, flicks and showboats.
