LA Galaxy got beaten 4-0 by Isidro Metapan last night, or rather, by their veteran striker Nicolas Muñoz, who scored all four goals with a first half quartet.
In so doing, he became the first ever player to score four in a CONCACAF Champions League match.
In an eerily near-empty stadium, Munoz bullied the Galaxy defence all by himself, scoring 4 goals between the 29th and 41st minute, in an 11-minute burst.
His third was coolly taken, faking a shot to dupe the keeper before rounding him, and the fourth, the piece de resistance: a lovely lob over the keeper just inside the area.
An awesome display from the Panamanian, but WTF was the Galaxy defence up to?!
