Bolton fans may just about remember Bedi Buval, the French striker who was on the Trotters books back in 2006. The forward, who only made a series of limited reserve team appearances, never played for the first team due to a recurring knee injury, but several years later Buval has made sure that his name sticks out. Sadly, it is for all the wrong reason.
The striker was guilty of missing one of the easiest goals of the season last weekend against Vejle in the Danish SAS Ligaen.
In classic comedy-fashion, Buval managed to do all the hard work in rounding the visiting keeper to leave himself facing the gaping open goal, only for the striker to be inflicted with the two-left-feet-syndrome and with a bucket of egg on the number 18’s face.
Bedi Buval’s horror miss for Randers can be seen here.
