Befitting his status as the player everyone wants to sign, Marco Reus has been in great form for Borussia Dortmund of late.
Whilst Dortmund have been rubbish in the Bundesliga and terrific in the Champions League, Reus has certainly been consistent over the past couple of weeks.
Reus has scored three goals in his past three games against St Pauli, Bayern Munich and last night against Galatasaray.
After each goal, the Borussia Dortmund star has impersonated the three wise monkeys now seen on all social networks as emojis.
Following the victory over Galatasaray in the Champions League, Reus was asked by reporters if the Monkey Emojis celebrations were due to the recent transfer speculation.
Reus said: “I can not tell you what it’s all about, I’ve lost a bet… its nothing to do with transfer speculation!”
The first goal came against St Pauli, Reus covered his eyes.
Reus’ next goal was against Bayern Munich on Saturday, this time time he covered his ears.
And, finally, Reus’ goal against Galatasaray on Tuesday evening saw the German playmaker cover his mouth.
