England’s burgeoning World Cup campaign is already throwing up some amusing sights.
The Three Lions visited the Rocinha Sports Complex on Monday and tried their hand at some capoeira.
Specifically, Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck and Liverpool hitman Daniel Sturridge, were picked out to perform the traditional Brazilian martial art.
Fair play to Welbeck and Sturridge, Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster did not seem so keen to take part and Southampton playmaker Adam Lallana failed to cover himself in glory either…
Sturridge speaks eloquently on the video about the importance of England turning up to events like this and the backdrop views of Sugerloaf mountain and the Favelas are particularly eye catching.
The Liverpool hitman pulls out some of his trademark dancing which he showed a fair few times during the last season after scoring goals.
Welbeck and Sturridge were also asked about how they got mobbed on the beach the day before on a Rio beach.
With Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck joking about how Liverpool “Never Walk Alone”!
