Manchester United are smashing the British transfer record to bring in Real Madrid star Angel Di Maria.
It was tonight confirmed by all media outlets that an initial fee of £59.7m had been agreed between the two clubs.
After a woeful start to the season, the delight of Manchester United fans could be felt everywhere, especially on Twitter.
The signing of Di Maria is seen by most reds as proof that they can still attract top players to Old Trafford.

Opposition fans taking the piss out of the AdM signing. I'd rather £60m be spent on a world class player than interest payment on debt #mufc
