Manchester United have been linked with a number of players already today.
Both Angel Di Maria and Ricardo Roriguez would be impressive signings from Manchester United, as would Enzo Perez – the Argentina midfielder that looks set to play the World Cup semi-final against Holland on Wednesday.
Portuguese newspaper O Jogo report that Manchester United are trying to bring Benfica midfielder Enzo Perez to Old Trafford.
Following a very successful season with Benfica, Perez is understood to have an agreement with Valencia to join the La Liga side for 2014/2015.
But, with uncertainty still rife at Valencia over the deal for billionaire Peter Lim to take over, Manchester United are hoping to hijack the deal according to O Jogo.
Reports in Portugal suggest that Louis van Gaal is keen to bring Enzo Perez to Old Trafford and the pair look set to meet on Wednesday night in Sao Paulo.
Perez came on for Angel Di Maria in Argentina’s 1-0 win over Belgium in the quarter-finals and looks set to replace the Real Madrid midfielder for the clash versus Holland.
