With injuries to Marcelo and Fabio Coentrao there were rumours circulating that new world record signing, Gareth Bale could start at left-back for Real Madrid this weekend.
The world awaits the young Welshman’s debut and today Ancelotti confirmed Bale will feature against Villarreal on Saturday night.
Ancelotti ruled out the possibility of Bale starting in his old position of left-back saying “He will play on the right wing”.
Bale made a name for himself after moving higher up the pitch at Spurs and the rest is history for the world’s most expensive player.
An early rivalry could be seen between Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, with a dangerous tackle by Ronaldo followed by a nutmeg by the new star at the Bernabeu.
