Croat Luka Modric has been moved to send a message of support to his homeland where he has so many friends and family, by urging solidarity in this time of emergency between the former warring neighbpours.
Along with a picture holding a sign, Modric wrote:
”In my country again is enormous suffering. The words are comfort to them, but works to help them return to life. Turn is for us and our actions. STAY STRONG SLAVONIJO. See u soon! The one who is suffering is best understanding someone else suffering. Solidarity to neighbours in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. Stay strong.”
