Things got pretty fesity in the Catalan derby last night, as Barcelona beat Espanyol 4-1 in the Copa del Rey.
So feisty, in fact, that there’s now an investigation into what went on afterwards, where it appears that Luis Suarez and Paul Lopez’s running feud spilled over in the tunnel.
It all started with Suarez’s objection to what he deemed to be roughhouse play from the Espanyol keeper, who he accused of throwing a dirty elbow.
From there, Suarez went on a systematic trolling campaign against Lopez, goading him with verbal provocation throughout, and celebrating Barcelona’s 2nd goal right in his face.
And the piece de resistance right at the end, goading Lopez over Barcelona’s 5 titles.
