If you want the latest and most up to date information on whether Louis van Gaal is joining Manchester United, it is probably best to head to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
The reliable paper from Holland has close links with Louis van Gaal and reported yesterday that the Dutch coach has signed a three-year contract at Old Trafford.
Early on Sunday morning, De Telegraaf have revealed that LVG will be given a transfer kitty of 100 million euros this summer.
Manchester United’s chief summer target is Bayern Munich’s midfield schemer Toni Kroos with De Telegraaf confirming reports that Sir Alex Ferguson was sitting next to his agent, Sascha Breese, during yesterday’s win over Norwich.
Its also significant that Ferguson was sat with Breese, who also represents Marco Reus, as it suggests the legendary Manchester United boss will play a part in the Louis van Gaal revolution at Old Trafford.
De Telegraaf add that van Gaal agreed to take over Manchester United in recent days and that he wants an announcement next week.
Louis van Gaal is keen to end speculation about his future before he leads Holland into the World Cup in Brazil.
