After scoring two goals in Barcelona’s 4-0 rout of Santos on Sunday, Lionel Messi was subjected to one of the most bizarre and awkward interviews which the Japanese seem to specialise in.

Messi was presented with a rather large gold key by Toyota after being named man of the match and with the cameras rolling was brought into a studio with what appears to be a host of presenters.

After refusing a coat, once the question did come, Messi gave a swift answer and made a sharp swerve away from the cameras, in trademark style with how he avoids defenders on the pitch.
