The lead story on Uruguayan website Ovacion on Monday has a one worded headline.
With a picture of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez happily waving to the crowd, the outlet shouts ¡VUELVE!, or “back!” in English.
The message is simple: Liverpool’s star striker is set to spearhead Uruguay’s attack for the massive match against England on Thursday night in Sao Paulo.
Behind the headline, Ovacion report that “its seems” that Suarez will begin the match from the start, where he will “face colleagues and friends from the Premier League in a decisive game for the future of both teams in the World Cup.”
Of course, both Uruguay and England both lost their opening matches in Brazil to Costa Rica and Italy respectively.
