Fears are now high that Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho will miss out on Brazil’s World Cup squad this summer.
On March 5 the World Cup hosts play South Africa in Johannesburg, and coach Luiz Felipe Scolari’s has just revealed his squad for that match.
Scolari’s latest squad has been built up as a crucial indication as to what what will Brazil’s final setup when the games begin in June.
With that in mind, Liverpool’s Coutinho, along with AC Milan’s Kaka, are the big names off the squad list for the game against Bafana Bafana.
Of those named in Scolari’s squad, Chelsea are the most heavily populated team with four players. They included David Luiz, Willian, Ramires and Oscar. Aside from Chelsea’s players, Manchester City’s Fernandinho, Tottenham’s Paulinho and QPR keeper Julio Cesar all made the cut.
