Liverpool v Blackburn: Predicted line-ups, preview & betting tips

Liverpool can book their place in the final four of the FA Cup on Sunday, provided the Reds can beat Blackburn Rovers at Anfield.

Whichever way you look at things, Liverpool appear to be the overwhelming favourites against Championship outfit Blackburn (Rovers are 10/3 to qualify into the semis), with the Scousers flying high at the moment under Brendan Rodgers.

Indeed, since Christmas, Liverpool have taken 29 points from 11 Premier League games, which is more than any other team in that period.

Predicted line-ups:

Liverpool: Mignolet, Can, Srktel, Lovren, Sterling, Henderson, Allen, Morena, Lallana, Sturridge, Coutinho

Blackburn: Eastwood, Henley, Hanley, Kilgallon, Olsson, Conway, Evans, Taylor, Williamson, Marshall, Gestede.

Steven Gerrard has missed the last six Liverpool matches with a hamstring injury, and he is expected to miss out against Rovers too.

Elsewhere, Mamadou Sakho remains a doubt with a hip problem for the hosts, while Jordon Ibe is injured.

Blackburn’s biggest setback relates to in-form striker Josh King, who scored a hat-trick in the fifth-round win over Stoke, who looks set to miss the match at Anfield with a hamstring injury.

As for those fit and able, the Anfield crowd will be looking forward to another chance to see Philippe Coutinho (11/10 to score anytime) in action.

The Brazilian midfielder has been in magical form in recent weeks, while Raheem Sterling (4/1 to score first) should also excite the crowd with his pace and thoughtfulness up front.
