Live football streaming: Watch Ajax v Feyenoord (“De Klassieker”) in the Eredivisie
- Updated: January 19, 2013
Two of Holland’s biggest clubs go into arguably the most famous fixture of the Eredivisie - “De Klassieker” – just as Holland’s top division comes back from their winter group and as the title race really gets into gear.
The Amsterdam ArenA will be packed to the rafters on Sunday (kick off: 13.30 GMT) as third placed Ajax host Feyenoord in fourth, both on 37 points, three points behind leaders PSV who have played a game more.

Making this match intriguing is not just the stature of the encounter, which every season keeps everyone in Holland glued to their TV set, but the fact both Ajax and Feyenoord are in great form, having won five games out of their last six.
Ajax boast a slew of fine young players, who will be looking to make a name for themselves for Frank de Boer’s side.
The likes of Christian Eriksen, Viktor Fischer, Lucas Andersen, and Ricardo van Rhijn are all in the midst of fine seasons and are potential match winners on Sunday.
Feyenoord also boast some emerging starlets as well.
Jordy Clasie, Tonny Vilhena, Bruno Martins Indi and Stefan de Vrij have all impressed this season so far. But, taking most of the headlines has been Graziano Pelle.
The Italian scored an excellent equaliser in the 90th minute in the first game between these two sides in October and alongside Wilfried Bony, was the stand out striker in the Eredivsie in the first half of the campaign.
It would be a major surprise if this fixture didn’t live up to its billing of “De Klassieker!!!”
