Kevin Strootman getting mobbed by Roma ultras as the Dutchman arrives at Fiumicino airport
Another Manchester United target bites the dust.
Dutch international Kevin Strootman, who earlier in the summer was heavily tipped to join Old Trafford, has completed his move to Roma on Tuesday.
Strootman has left PSV for €20 million, while the midfielder has penned a four-year contract with the Giallorossi said to be worth €2.2 million a season.
Figures aside, Roma’s fans were ecstatic at the sight of their new signing at Fiumicino airport on Tuesday afternoon.
A shedload of Roma fans waited for Strootman at the airport, where they greeted their new signing with songs, scarfs and a ton of video cameras recording the moment Kevin arrived in iTaly.
