It was only a friendly against minnows Chiasso, but Kaka’s debut for AC Milan in his second stint with the Rossoneri was a significant milestone for the Brazilian.
Kaka was handed the captain’s armband in a friendly with Chiasso, his the trequartista’s first game for the club in four years.
Kaka rejoined Milan on a free transfer last week after finally leaving Real Madrid, and the playmaker, who is badly in need of regular playing time, was immediately thrown straight into the starting XI for Saturday’s game in Switzerland.
Kaka lasted 45 minutes in his first outing for Milan, and more importantly he grabbed an assist for Antonio Nocerino’s opener in the 4-0 rout.
