Juventus fans aren’t happy, and they made their feelings known as the team bus made it’s way to the Stadio Olympico on Sunday.
With the Old Lady nowhere in the league and out of all European and cup competitions, a 300-strong crowd gathered in protest as the Bianconeri team made their way on the bus before their Serie A match with Atalanta.
But matters escalated after eggs where thrown at the bus, when one ultra managed to evade the security personnel protecting the players and struck defender Jonathan Zebina on the back of the head. To his credit Zebina showed no reaction and continued boarding the bus.
Manager Alberto Zaccheroni responded to the incident by calling out the ultras as not being part “of the civilised world.”
Footage of the attack on Zebina can be seen here.
