Another day, another update on Juan Cuadrado’s transfer from Fiorentina to either Manchester United or Barcelona.
On Wednesday, Sport suggest that the Colombian winger is waiting on Barcelona but that the Manchester United bid is still the only one received by Serie A side Fiorentina.
It is now simply the will of the player himself holding up the move, as Cuadrado prefers to head to the Nou Camp rather than Old Trafford.
Barcelona made their interest known to Cuadrado last January but are struggling to even come up with a fee for the Colombian World Cup star as they cannot offload Brazilian full back Dani Alves.
Manchester United’s offer, is according to Sport, worth 35 million euros plus four million more in incentives depending on appearances and trophies won at Old Trafford.
Whilst Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle is hoping for a bigger offer, the Italians are keen to wrap up the Cuadrado transfer by August 20.
Cuadrado has urged Fiorentina to wait for Barcelona but it is beginning to look like Manchester United are the only game in town…
