Joleon Lescott criticises Man City fans after receiving unnecessary abuse following draw at Blackburn [Tweets]Joleon Lescott was at fault for Blackburn Rovers goal in Manchester City’s 1-1 FA Cup draw at Ewood Park.

The England defender took to Twitter after the game to send a message to his own fans, who had verbally abused him during the game.

City fans were reportedly shouting ‘F*** off Scarface’, amongst other insults, aimed at 31 year old Joleon Lescott.

Having spent almost 5 years at Man City, Lescott is being linked to a January move to Turkish side Besiktas, as well as Tottenham Hostspur.

Following today’s harsh abuse, he’ll surely be more open to a move away from the Etihad.
