Fears are seriously growing for the future of Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.
The 1-1 draw with Norwich at home has heaped yet more pressure on Rodgers despite an improved display that saw some guilt-edged chances missed by Philippe Coutinho and co.
Liverpool’s match with Norwich was not televised but Sky Sports pundits Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville did discuss the poor start to the season made by the Merseyside giants.
Carragher fears for Rodgers but wonders why the Liverpool owners would have kept on the under-pressure manager for just a few games after splashing the cash in the summer.
Meanwhile, Neville defends Rodgers somewhat, arguing that Liverpool cannot compete in the transfer market with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City.
