A fantastic piece of footage for you.
Doncaster chairman John Ryan has hailed manager Sean O’Driscoll’s current side as “the best Doncaster Rovers side bar none” after the Championship side turned in a superb second half display against promotion-chasing QPR at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday. The highlight of their 2-nil win was a brilliant 34-pass move which left the visitors chasing shadows amidst the cries of “Ole!” from the adoring home crowd.
Ryan said: “Having watched Doncaster Rovers since February 1958, I can say in all the years, I have never seen such a complete performance as against QPR in the second half. Bearing in mind the quality of our opponents on Saturday, to produce such slick passing that completely bewildered our illustrious visitors was breathtaking. The 34-pass move was only halted by a dirty tackle or we may have scored from a move that took most of the team in. This move summed up the style of football we play. So hopefully more people will come and watch this scintillating football from the best Doncaster Rovers side bar none.”
