Ronaldinho continues to sparkle during the pre-season.
Against Club America on Wednesday night, the gap-toothed wonder was fielded in the hole behind the strikers, allowing the Brazilian to attempt some cute incisive passes as well as seeing the forward crash the bar with a long-range free-kick. Ronaldinho also entertained the onlooking crowd with a series of tidy touches and cute flicks.

American international centre-half Oguchi Onyewu made his AC Milan debut, however sadly for the US defender his first match could have gone better. After coming on as a halftime substitute, Onyewu was soon at fault for Club America’s first goal, the defender losing his striker Enrique Esqueda who went on to score the opener.

Oguchi’s performance was in stark contrast to that of Alessandro Nesta, the man he replaced at the break. Although approaching his twilight years at 33, Nesta hardly put a foot wrong in the first half of the match, making interception after interception as the Mexican forward’s struggled to get a shot on goal.
