Manchester United fans witnessed a potentially historic moment on Tuesday night as Paul Pogba received his eagerly-awaited league debut against Stoke.

With the Red Devils already 2-up in the 72nd minute, Ferguson brought on the young Frenchman for Chicharito, and immediately the six-foot-plus 18-year-old grabbed onlookers attention with his short-sleeves and gloves style combination.

Moments later it was Pogba’s feet that United fans were far more interested in.

Standing tall in the middle of the park, Pogba looked free of nerves as he began popping off passes and freely involving himself in United’s attacks.

Moreover, man-boy Pogba was confident enough to slide into tackles, roll opponents and take responsibility for delivering a handful of fine right wing crosses in an all-action cameo display.
