Iker Casillas absolutely hammered after Atletico Madrid goal v Real Madrid in CL final
It was not a surprise to many that Atletico Madrid scored from a set-piece against Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
Diego Godin scored another absolutely MASSIVE goal for Atletico Madrid, a week after scoring the La Liga title clincher at the Nou Camp.
There is no doubt about the fall guy: Iker Casillas.
The Real Madrid legend was clearly at fault, in no-mans land.
And, social media was not a happy place for the Spain number one!
Two things I've learned so far tonight. 1. Horse placenta doesn't cure everything. 2. Casillas might not be the keeper he was.

Casillas clearly has been on the gazprom.

Say this for Casillas: he's maybe the only goalkeeper in the world who's good enough to be as bad as he is.

It was already proving extremely difficult for Madrid and will be even more so now. Poor from Casillas, but Bale too. He should have scored.

Huge mistake from Iker Casillas…huge.

Imagine pinning that on anything but Casillas

Can't imagine Del Bosque is feeling good at moment – Costa pulled, his starting keeper Casillas committing a howler. #worldcup
