Hungarian non-league goalkeeper “Sebok” (no one seems to know his surname) of Gutorfolde has gone viral after attempting, and making a save, similar to Rene Higuita’s famous Scorpion Kick at Wembley.
Gutorfolde were 6-0 down to Lenti at the time, which might explain why Sebok felt he could chance his arm with an unorthodox (to say the least!) save.
As an aside, since it was pretty much all we could find out, Gutorfolde received the fair play award in season 2012/2013 as they received only 33 yellow card and four red cards in the Zala County regional football league.
Video below, followed by Rene Higuita’s epic save at Wembley for Colombia v England in 1995.
