Steve Bruce had barely got underway in his post match Hull presser on Saturday when his attention was turned elsewhere.

As Hull’s manager was addressing the press at the KC Stadium, there appeared to be a TV screen in the press room in the full view of the former Manchester United centre-half.

Bruce was naturally a keen observer of West Ham’s evening match with Manchester United, and the boss was watching as Wayne Rooney scored that goal.

Hilariously, as Bruce was being as a question from the press pit, the Man United legend stopped paying attention, lifted his eyes towards the TV screen, and opened his mouth in a reflex reaction to Rooney’s goal.

Bruce then brilliantly rambled:

What a goal. You’ve gotta see that. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. You’re never gonna see anything like it again.

Wait till you see this. That’s more important than me. Wait till you see this. Wow. It’s a Beckham. It’s another Beckham one. [Long pause] Awwww, no! Look at the goalie! He’s run the wrong way.

Wow Wazza. Wow. Wow. Wow. Jesus! Jesus!

See Steve Bruce prove he’s still a major Manchester United fan below.
