Great intelligence! Lewis Holtby ducked under Andros Townsend’s cross for the Spurs opener

Tottenham ran out 2-0 winners over Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.

Andros Townsend scored the opener on the half hour mark but he had Lewis Holtby to thank after he produced a wonderful dummy.

Townsend’s teasing cross was directed towards the far corner and Holtby used his wit to simply duck under the cross.

The German midfielder went over to Townsend after the goal and appears to have told him about his duck.

Holtby was heavily involved in both of the goals despite not getting an assist.
