Marnick Vermijl is a 20-year-old Belgian defender that has been on the cusp of the Manchester United first team in recent months.
In September, Sir Alex Ferguson handed Vermijl his first ever start for Manchester United in the Capital One Cup victory over Newcastle.
Although yet to progress to the Belgian national team, it would be no surprise if Vermijl joined a host of other famous countrymen as a regular starter for one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.
On Monday night, Marnick Vermijl scored for Manchester United reserves in a 2-2 draw with Sunderland and the goal was a truly classy as the Belgian defender cut in from the left and beat three men before rifling a fine strike into the corner.
This wasn’t the only highlight in an entertaining game and Manchester United fans will be intrigued to see this fine run from forgotten man Bebe.
