How did Stoke midfielder Steven N’Zonzi get away with just a yellow card for this?!
Fulham boss Martin Jol was outraged by the first half decision of referee Lee Probert to only award a yellow card to Nzonzi for a first half slap/punch/left hook on Bryan Ruiz.
Jol: “I think he’s very lucky to get a yellow card. This was a sort of knockout punch that was more than red. It was evil.”
As it was, Stoke went down to a 1-0 defeat at Fulham thanks to a fine Dimitar Berbatov goal but N’Zonzi was rather fortunate to see out the match.
