The day after Chelsea’s 2-1 Europa League final win over Benfica, the likes of Branislav Ivanovic, Fernando Torres, Petr Cech and Rafa Benitez have correctly been lauded.
Gary Cahill, meanwhile, who has had an excellent season, often responsible for John Terry being on the Chelsea bench, has been somewhat overlooked.
