Gary Neville Tweets that Man United can still go through in CL, Olympiakos “weren’t great”

Former Manchester United defender and now super Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville is usually up early, on Thursday morning it was even earlier as he made his way back from Istanbul.

Neville was part of the commentary team that called Galatasaray’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea last night and then answered some questions on Twitter, predominantly about Manchester United.

G Nev has backed United to turn it round in the second leg at Old Trafford, even going so far as to describe Olympiakos as not “great.”

Considering United are 2-0 down and rumours of David Moyes’ departure are rife, we are surprised about the constant positive talk coming out of Old Trafford but perhaps Gary Neville is simply backing his brother Phil who is part of the current coaching set-up.

Like many ex-United stars, Neville also pointed out that the players deserve as much criticism as David Moyes…
