Gary Neville on AVB’s sacking from Spurs: “Rubbish! Prime Ministers and Presidents get 4/5 years for a reason!”

Everyone’s favourite pundit Gary Neville has reacted to the news that Tottenham have fired Andre Villas-Boas.

On Sunday Neville was in front of a camera lens (see above) discussing another managerial sacking, West Brom’s axing of Steve Clarke on Saturday night after the defeat to Cardiff.

During that TV appearance Neville gave his global thoughts on football management these days, saying cold hearted dismissals are part and parcel of the modern game, but that that trend is wrong at it’s core.

Neville stressed the need for clubs to back their managers, and the Sky Sports pundit echoed those sentiments on Twitter on Monday in strong opinion on Tottenham’s actions to AVB.
