Florent Malouda reveals it would be a dream to play in Brazil, for Vasco da Gama

This marks a rare transfer exclusive on 101 Great Goals as the English-speaking press have so far failed to pick up on an interview given by Florent Malouda to Brazilian TV in the aftermath of Chelsea’s 0-0 draw with Arsenal on Saturday.
Malouda appeared in a joint interview with Andre Santos after the goalless draw, with Brazil ESPN and spoke a smattering of Portuguese before revealing (in English) where he would like to end his career.
The veteran French midfielder, who has 72 caps at international level, said he would like to play one season in Brazil and preferably would want to join Vasco da Gama.
He added that his reason for joining Vasco da Gama is down to his friendship with Juninho Pernambucano, who is still banging in the goals in the Brazilian top flight. The pair played together at Lyon in Ligue 1.
Malouda’s current contract at Chelsea finishes at the end of the 2012/2013 season and last summer he publicly requested a one year extension until the 2014 World Cup.
