You don’t say Sepp!?
Continuing with his very deliberate manoeuvring away from any responsibility in the Qatar World Cup decision, FIFA President Sepp Blatter has surprisingly told German publication that political influences were central to the 2022 bidding process.
”Yes, definitely there was direct political influence.European leaders recommended their voting members to vote for Qatar, because they combine important economic interests with this country.”
The ramifications of this admission from the FIFA President will surely increase the clamour to take the World Cup from Qatar.
Below is a clip of Sepp Blatter stopping off in Haiti on his CONCACAF tour.
