Fake Gareth Bale “#halaMadrid” Tweet starts doing the rounds

A transfer is not officially completed these days until the incoming player has announced his delight at signing for the new club.

With Gareth Bale’s mooted world record transfer fee move from Tottenham to Real Madrid the talk of the global football press, the Welsh forward’s first Tweet as a Los Blancos player has already been written…

At least according to some news sources, who claim the Tweet below was sent out from Gareth Bale’s official account in the early hours of Monday morning.

Perhaps it was deleted, since as it stands Gareth Bale has not Tweeted from his official account since July 18 – which in itself should probably be cause for Spurs fans to worry.

After all, if he wanted to denounce the constant claims from the Spanish press, Bale could easily make himself heard.
