A brilliantly bad goal was spotted in the lower leagues of Serbian football last weekend.
In the third tier, Srpska Liga, Sopot maintained Mladenovac’s 100% losing record at the start of the season with a massive 7-0 hammering of the division’s whipping boys.
One goal of the seven was all Mladenovac’s fault though, and more specifically it came from a big mistake from keeper Dejan Pavlovic.
With the ball in his grasp, Pavlovic whacked a clearance straight into the back of his centre-half. The ball then fell into the path of a Sopot striker, who had the simple job of scoring into the empty net.
