A note to all footballers. If your club’s in-house TV camera crew are filming live, it is probably wise to be on your best behaviour.

That nugget of common sense was duly ignored to it’s fullest at Dynamo Kiev this week, as teammates Denys Balan and Oleksandr Chornomorets came to bitter blows during a training match.

As the pair grappled for possession, the bibbed Oleksandr Chornomorets reacted unkindly to Denys Balan’s attempts to wrestle him off the ball. Like a red rag to a bull, Chornomorets completely lost the plot as he kicked Balan in between his legs, before taking a second swipe at his teammate with a leg sweep that finally grounded his frenemy.

After twice being kicked Balan responded with a right hook to Chornomorets’ shaggy head, at which point other players bowled in to separate the warring twosome.
