Done Deal! Liverpool announce they have signed Adam Lallana from Southampton

As expected, just a week after Luke Shaw left Southampton, Adam Lallana has also departed St Mary’s for Anfield in a deal believed to be worth 25 million pounds.

Both Southampton and Liverpool confirmed the news on their relevant social media pages and for Lallana it marks the biggest move of his career.

Lallana cited the fact he will play Champions League football as a key factor and in joining from Southampton.

The England midfielder is used to a high pressing game so should fit in well at Liverpool under Brendan Rodgers.

Seems like a good signing all round. Southampon are expected to spend the money received on Dusan Tadic, a creative midfielder from FC Twente.

Back Argentina at a whopping 3/1 to qualify past Switzerland in the World Cup second round.
