Dimitar Berbatov scored after five minutes of his Monaco Ligue 1 debut v Sochaux [Video]

Monaco manager Claudio Ranieri has handed a first start to former Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov on Saturday night against Sochaux in Ligue 1, and the Bulgarian hero took just five minutes to find the target.

Berbatov, who partnered in attack by Valere Germain, found the back of the net early doors with a simple back post finish from a Layvin Kurzawa cross.

The goal was Berbatov’s second since arriving in France, with the former Spurs and Manchester United hitman having scored against Nice back in February.
