David Moyes laments Phil Jones’ amateur goalkeeping after Everton 2 – Manchester United 0 [Video]

Bet on the Premier League

David Moyes was surprisingly contented with his side’s performance at Everton today, intimating that United were the better team despite the defeat.

Moyes lamented the two ‘dreadful’ goals they conceded, in particular the first, which came via a penalty conceded by Phil Jones, who needlessly handled the ball.

Moyes quipped that ‘had the keeper made that save you’d be happy’, clearly flabbergasted by Jones’ bizarre decision to dabble in some amateur goalkeeping.

Otherwise Moyes praised his side’s possesion, passing, but felt they lacked cutting edge up front.
