They’ve had time to kiss and make-up.
Having feuded in the media over the past week, LA Galaxy teammates David Beckham and Landon Donovan presented a united front on Tuesday at Becks’ first training session since rejoining the MLS, despite suggestions that the pair are far from the best of buddies.
Both stars sung from the same hymn-sheet, both saying that positive clear-the-air talks had been held between the warring parties, but that the details of that conversation will be kept private from the fifth estate.
Beckham: “I’m not I’m not going to talk about what was said. That was between me, Landon and the manager (Bruce Arena). But it’s finished. It’s over and we’ll move on.”
The pair will have the opportunity to set tongues wagging about their on-the-field abilities this Thursday as Becks’ long awaited reintroduction to the MLS will take place in the high-profile match in New York against the Red Bulls.
